How a night runs

Signing up is free and you keep 100% of your song price. Fans pay a small fee on top at checkout, and nothing is deducted from your side.

No, and they never will. They scan your code and your menu opens in their browser. No download, no account, no password.
You decline it, and that is the end of it. Fans are told before they pay that they are submitting a request, not buying a guaranteed performance.
Of course. String is not a replacement for reading a room. Plenty of artists run it alongside the shouted requests and the tip jar.
